Illinois District in the News

The Illinois District was featured on the evening news Friday, April 12 by WMBD-TV (Channel 31) in Peoria.  It was a brief feature, but it summarized why we gathered in Peoria and mentioned the 75th Anniversary of the Barbershop Harmony Society.

The quartet in the report is Rich Hansen, Illinois District Executive VP (baritone of 3rd Place Finalist, Sound Opportunity); Brett Mulford, President of the Bloomington chapter (bass of the 2nd Place Finalist, the Committee); Tim Woodall, Illinois District VP of Chorus Director Development (singing lead, but the baritone of 5th Place Finalist, Ringtime); and District VP Marketing & Public Relations Derek Gilbert (Ringtime’s tenor).
