ATTENTION - YOUR IDAH SUPPORT IS NEEDED
IDAH, our Illinois District Academy of Harmony, is the only musical education event held within the Illinois District during the year and will soon be upon us. The date is March 13, 2010. 15 quartets and two choruses have committed to take part and receive some of finest coaching available in our Society and registration for those two areas have been closed.
However, there is still plenty of time and room available for you to attend this one day event and take part in the special classes that are being offered for your enjoyment.
Classes in Vocal Production, the History of Barbershop, Big League Tags, How To Have the Chapter You Want, Show Production and Selling Out Your Chapter Show are all available for you to take part.
As you can see, there is something of value for every barbershopper. For your convenience the school is a one-day event that allows you to arrive early on Saturday, March 13 and leave after a day packed with learning, singing and great entertainment. The price is only $85 and covers classroom instruction, two new songs, lunch and dinner, a terrific afterglow featuring our guest quartet, MASTERPIECE, our current district chorus champs, the Sound Of Illinois, our current quartet champs, OFF THE RECORD and tons of singing.
